LightBurn overlap cutting

When parts are packed very close together, LightBurn can remove duplicate cuts so a shared edge is not cut twice.

In LightBurn:

  1. Open the Laser tab.
  2. Click Optimization Settings.
  3. Turn on Remove Overlapping Lines.
  4. Leave the Distance setting at its default unless you have a reason to change it.

The Laser Design Studio packs compatible parts closely enough to work with this feature when LightBurn-optimized packing is selected.
